This homepage contains up-to-date gasket data in accordance with EN 13555 for gasket types offered for sale in Europe. The page has been developed and is administrated by the Department of Sealing Technologies of the University of Applied Sciences in Münster/Germany. The database will be updated regularly.

The database has been developed in cooperation with the gasket industry. The gasket data was either obtained at accepted test houses or at the manufacturer’s laboratory. In the latter case random testing to assure objectivity and reliability has been carried out by Muenster University of Applied Sciences.

The majority of the recorded data sheets can be found now in the updated layout.

Note: It is important to recognise that the test parameters used (temperature, initial gasket stress, gasket thickness etc.) during the gathering of the data on the datasheets are selected by the manufacturer. Therefore data of similar gasket types can not necessarily be directly compared with each other.
